The God who Knows Me; Loves Me Beyond Measure

Today’s Scripture — Psalm 139:2–4

“You know when I sit and when I rise; You perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; You are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue You, Lord, know it completely.” (Psalm 139:2–4, NIV)

Devotional Reflection — Loved Beyond Measure

Sis, there is something incredibly freeing about being completely known and still completely loved.

We often spend so much of our lives trying to prove ourselves—to be enough, to do enough, to accomplish enough, or to appear like we have everything together. We carefully choose the words we speak, hide the struggles we carry, and sometimes even wear masks so others won’t see our insecurities. I say this not out of what I think happens but out of experience.

But I realized that none of that is necessary with God.

Psalm 139 reminds us that before we ever speak, He already knows our words. Before we make a decision, He understands our thoughts. Before we take another step, He already knows where the path will lead.

And yet…

He still chooses to love us.

God’s love is not based on our performance—it is rooted in His character. It doesn’t increase on your best days or decrease on your hardest ones. His love remains steady, faithful, and unchanging.

Sometimes the enemy wants us to believe that God’s knowledge of us should make us afraid. Instead, it should draw us closer. The very things we fear would push others away never separate us from God’s love.

He knows the burdens you carry for your family, your ministry, your career, and your future.

“I know… and I still love you.”

That truth deserves more than acknowledgment—it deserves worship.

Worship isn’t simply singing songs on Sunday morning. Worship is our heart responding to the overwhelming reality of who God is. When we remember that the Creator of the universe knows every detail about us and still calls us His beloved daughters, praise becomes the most natural response.

Today, don’t rush through your schedule without pausing to adore the One who knows you so completely. Let your worship become a reminder that His love has never been dependent on your perfection—it has always been anchored in His grace.

Journal Prompt

Journal Entry: What makes it difficult for you to fully receive God’s love? Do you ever feel like you have to earn His approval? Write about a time when you experienced God’s love in a way that reminded you His grace is greater than your shortcomings. Thank Him for loving every part of you—the parts that are confident and the parts that are still healing.

Today’s Challenge

Challenge139 — Day 6: Worship in His Love

Today, intentionally set aside at least 10–15 minutes to listen to a worship song or songs that reminds you of God’s incredible love for you.

Ask the Holy Spirit to remind you that you are fully known, fully seen, and fully loved by your Heavenly Father.

When the song or songs are over, write one sentence in your journal answering this question:

“What did God remind me about His love today?”

Today’s Prayer

Father, thank You for loving me with an everlasting love. Thank You that You know every thought, every fear, every weakness, and every dream, yet You never turn away from me. Teach me to rest in Your unfailing love instead of striving for approval. Let my heart overflow with worship as I remember that I am Your beloved daughter. Help me carry that truth with me today and every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Sis, Remember This…

You never have to earn what God has already freely given.

His love found you before you found Him.

His grace holds you even when you feel weak.

The God who knows everything about you loves everything He created in you. Rest in His love today, and let your worship be your response.
